Isabelle Guyon

Machine learning researcher who co-authored the 1992 optimal margin classifier paper with Boser and Vapnik.

Guyon worked with Bernhard Boser and Vladimir Vapnik on the 1992 paper that combined the kernel trick with maximum-margin classifiers, a step toward the support vector machines published by Corinna Cortes and Vapnik in 1995.
