Seymour Papert

1928–2016

MIT educator who co-wrote Perceptrons with Marvin Minsky in 1969.

Papert co-authored the 1969 book Perceptrons with Marvin Minsky, a critical study of perceptron networks that dampened enthusiasm for neural approaches. He is also remembered for Logo and his work on how children learn with computers.
